In short: Stocky medium dog, 31-40 cm at the withers (18-25 kg), smooth coat, very short muzzle, low energy level. A placid, stubborn, endearing dog with a low, massive frame and little taste for exertion. In the car with a English Bulldog

Identification (microchip or tattoo) is mandatory, with vaccinations up to date for boarding or border crossings (EU passport, rabies shot). In hot weather, never leave a English Bulldog in a parked car, even “for five minutes”: the cabin turns lethal within a quarter of an hour.
