Description
A bag of crickets that opens in the kitchen, and you find them behind the furniture for weeks. A gecko going to the vet in a shoebox. An enclosure to disinfect thoroughly while the animal waits somewhere. For those moments you need a box that shuts properly, breathes and lets you see what’s going on.
This one is clear plastic with vents on the sides and a clip-on lid with a small hatch: you can grab a cricket or drop in prey without opening everything. It works as a stock box for a gecko’s or bearded dragon’s insects between purchases, a carrier for a young reptile or amphibian, or a temporary quarantine box.
19 × 12.5 × 7.5 cm, 140 g. It is a transport and storage size, not a habitat: a reptile must not live in it. To actually breed crickets, our guide recommends a 50 to 80 litre tub. During a journey, keep the box out of the sun and away from temperature swings, and tuck it in an insulated bag in winter.
Delivered in 8 to 15 working days, 14 days to return it, free delivery from €49.

Frequently asked questions
Can crickets escape through the holes?
The vents let air through; very small (micro) crickets can pass holes this size, medium and adult crickets can’t.
Can my gecko live in it?
No, it is a transport or short-quarantine box. A gecko needs a heated, furnished enclosure.
