Description
A caged budgie spends most of its day on fixed perches. As our guide points out, a moving support forces a bird to adjust constantly, gentle exercise that keeps balance and leg muscles in shape, invaluable for birds that fly little. Many budgies end up adopting their swing as their favourite sleeping spot.
This swing hangs a wooden perch from an arch of coloured wooden beads, with two little bells your bird can ring. A hook fixes it to the cage roof. Two sizes: small (12 × 13 cm) for budgies, lovebirds and zebra finches; large (18 × 17 cm) for cockatiels or ring-necked parakeets.
52 to 62 g, wire and wood. Hang it high, in a corner, without cutting across the flight path. Bells delight some birds and worry others at first: give it time. Check regularly that the bells are secure, and remove them if your bird manages to open them.
Ships in 8 to 15 working days, 14-day returns, free delivery from €49.
