Description
The cat steps out of the box, shakes a paw, and the grains end up in the hallway, stuck to your socks or under the sofa. The cat isn’t the problem: a smooth floor simply holds nothing back.
This mat sits at the exit of the box. Its top layer has honeycomb holes: grains caught between the paw pads drop through as the cat walks. The bottom layer is waterproof, so the litter (and the odd accident beside the box) stays between the two. It is the foldable model: open the mat like a pouch, lift it by one edge and pour the collected grains back into the box.
Two sizes: 46×60 cm for a standard box, 55×70 cm for a large or top-entry box, around which grains travel further. Soft EVA, washable with water. It clearly cuts down scattered litter without removing it entirely: a cat that digs hard will still throw a few grains past the mat.

Which size should I pick?
The mat should extend at least 20 cm in front of the box exit. For a standard box (about 40×50 cm), 46×60 cm is enough; for a large box, a hooded box or a cat that jumps far when leaving, take 55×70 cm.
How do I empty it?
Open the mat from one side like a pouch, lift it and pour the collected grains back into the box or the bin. Rinse it with water now and then.
Does it hold urine?
The bottom layer is waterproof: a small accident beside the box stays in the mat instead of soaking into the floor. Rinse it with water afterwards. A cat that regularly urinates outside the box should see a vet.
