Description
Hay should make up most of the diet of rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas, and be available at all times. On the floor it quickly mixes with litter and gets trampled. This rack keeps it clean and within reach: the animal pulls strands through the bars, and the built-in tray below catches what falls or holds a small portion of pellets.
It is natural wood, untreated according to the maker, measures 16.5 × 15 × 17 cm and fixes to the cage wall with the screw and washer at the back. It weighs 200 g.
Limits: it holds one or two handfuls of hay; for a large rabbit or several animals you will need to refill it several times a day or fit two. Animals may gnaw the wood, which is harmless for raw wood but wears it over time. Designed for a barred cage.
