Description
In winter, the evening walk happens in the dark. A dark-coated dog crossing in front of a car or reaching the end of the lead on a country road is spotted by the driver far too late. Our guide cites the Wood, Tyrrell and Carberry study (2003) on pedestrians: visible gear changes the distance at which you are recognised by several tens of metres, and a moving point of light catches the eye.
This collar carries an LED strip along part of its length. An on/off button by the buckle cycles through modes (steady, slow flash, fast flash). It charges through a USB-C port: about an hour of charging for 10 to 12 hours of light according to the maker, enough for a week of evening walks. The imitation-nylon mesh has reflective stitching, and the D-ring takes the lead.
Sizes (neck): XS 25-30 cm (2 cm wide), S 30-40 cm, M 40-50 cm, L 50-60 cm (2.5 cm wide), 57 to 90 g. The maker describes it as water-resistant: fine in the rain, not for swimming. The collar is for being seen, not for holding back a strong puller: clip the lead to a harness for that.
Ships in 8 to 15 working days, free delivery from €49, 14 days to change size or return it.

Frequently asked questions
Is the charging cable included?
The collar charges through a USB-C port; the maker doesn’t say whether a cable is included. A phone USB-C cable works.
Can it go in water?
It resists rain according to the maker but isn’t made for swimming. Take it off before your dog goes in.
How do I choose the size?
Measure the neck with a tape, leaving room for two fingers. Between two sizes, go up; the collar is adjustable.
