  Its long, dense double coat demands thorough brushing several times a week, ideally daily if the hair is kept floor-length. Many owners choose a short maintenance clip at the groomer every six to eight weeks, at around 45 to 65 €.

  Less play-driven than other small breeds, it still enjoys small chew toys and calm scent games. Respect its independent streak: short, varied sessions work better than long, imposed ones.
