  An adult of 10 to 15 kg gets around 160 to 240 g of kibble per day, weighed strictly: the Beagle is one of the breeds most prone to obesity and never seems full. A slow-feeder bowl paces its meals, and secure your bins and cupboards, as this born scavenger helps itself.

• 🧴 Care & grooming

  Its short, dense coat needs only weekly brushing, a little more during shedding periods. Its long drop ears must be checked and cleaned regularly, as moisture and poor airflow encourage ear infections.
