Description
This lick mat slows down a dog that wolfs its wet food, or keeps a dog busy for a few minutes (grooming, bath time, visitors, storms). Spread wet food, plain yoghurt or a suitable purée into the scale-shaped ridges; the dog has to lick it out, which takes much longer than a bowl.
It is one piece of BPA-free silicone, soft and heat resistant (-20 °C to 210 °C according to the maker): you can pour boiling water over it to sanitise it, or freeze it filled to make the activity last longer. 24.5 × 19 cm, 0.8 cm thick, 104 g.
Limits: it is designed for wet food, not dry kibble, which slides off. It is not a chew toy: a dog that shreds silicone should be supervised and the mat removed. It has no suction cups, so lay it on a flat surface.

Can I use kibble on it?
That is not what it is for: dry kibble rolls out of the ridges. Use food that spreads (wet food, purée, plain yoghurt).
How do I clean it?
Hot water and a brush. The silicone can be boiled, handy after greasy food.
Can my dog chew it?
No, it is a licking surface. Take it away if your dog starts biting or tearing it.
