Description
Some dogs lap so hard that the floor around the bowl ends up flooded, and breeds with big jowls or beards come away soaked. This bowl places a perforated floating disc on the water: the dog presses it with its tongue, only a small amount rises, and the rest stays underneath.
The wide shape, rim and non-slip base also limit spills on car or camper-van trips, a use the maker highlights. 1.5 L capacity, about 24 × 24 × 9 cm, ABS and PP, comes apart for cleaning.
Limits: some dogs take a few days to get the idea; keep an ordinary bowl next to it at first. The disc slows the flow, which is not what you want for a dog that needs to drink a lot (heat, exercise): keep a second water source then. Take it apart and wash it weekly.
