Description
After spaying or a small wound, the vet often asks you to stop the dog licking or chewing the area. The rigid cone does the job, but some dogs cope badly with it: they bump into doors, struggle to eat from their bowl and sleep poorly.
This collar is an inflatable ring in PVC with a plush cover, fastened around the neck with a hook-and-loop strap. The dog keeps its side vision and can lie down with its head resting on the ring. It deflates for storage.
Its limit is real: a ring restricts how far the neck turns, but a supple or long-nosed dog may still reach its front paws, tail or lower hind legs. Ask your vet whether it suits where the wound is; if not, the cone remains the right choice. Watch your dog for the first few hours wearing it.
