Description
This chew toy meets the chewing need of dogs, especially medium to large dogs that turn on furniture when bored. Its surface has nubs and a wavy groove; the hollow central channel can be filled with a crushed treat or dog toothpaste to keep interest going.
It measures about 15 × 5 cm and weighs 140 g; it is made of TPR (thermoplastic rubber) and nylon. The rubbing of the nubs while chewing helps loosen some surface deposits on the teeth, but it replaces neither brushing nor a vet scale-and-polish once tartar has set in.
No toy is indestructible: supervise the first sessions, remove it as soon as a piece comes off and make sure it is too big to be swallowed. At 15 cm it is not suitable for very small dogs or young puppies. Rinse with lukewarm water after use.
