Description
One hard brake and a dog dozing on the back seat slides between the seats or into the front seat back. A loose dog can also get in the driver’s way: a paw on the console, a head in front of the mirror.
This tether links your dog’s harness to the car’s seat-belt buckle: the metal tongue clicks in like a normal belt and the snap hook clips to the harness ring. The length adjusts with a slide buckle, so your dog can sit or lie down without reaching the front.
Always use it with a harness, never on the collar: in a sudden stop all the force would go through the neck. The maker publishes no crash test, so treat it as a way to keep your dog in place, not as certified protective equipment; for long trips or a large dog, a crate secured in the cargo area protects better. Check that the tongue fits your car’s buckles before the first trip. Strap in nylon, metal tongue and hook, about 100 g.
