🏠Bedding & habitat for the Goldfish

Goldfish : Allow 100 L for the first fish and roughly 50 L per additional one, in a tank that is longer than it is tall. Sand or rounded gravel works well, with a lid or hood to limit evaporation.

This is the structural purchase — and where mistakes cost the most: too small, badly placed, badly sized. Our guides give serious minimum dimensions for a fish, the materials that last, and the traps of entry-level products.

The bigger the tank, the more stable — and therefore easier — it is: 60 litres is a good start, and the goldfish bowl belongs to another century.
